Godel’s Incompleteness Theorem

In my atomically careful reading of Godel, Escher, Bach, I FINALLY made it up to the (almost) technical explanation of Godel’s Incompleteness Theorem. I had to read the chapter presenting the proof three times, yet I’m only beginning to grasp the ideas which were presented. Awesome stuff.

    Ah, XKCD – what a brilliant web comic with the right mix of intellectuality and humor. I’m looking forward to reading Godel Escher Bach and too and will make a note of paying attention to the Incompleteness Theorem as I really want to get a better understanding of it.
